My wife and I live in Monterey, CA, and we had been looking to get the interior of our duplex painted. We occupy the bottom portion of the home. We're guessing the existing paint on the walls and ceilings is at least 14 years old, so it was due.The Basurto Painting crew did a fantastic job in revitalizing our home! I knew giving our home a fresh coat of paint would make our place look nice, but I did not anticipate how much it would breathe new life into our home. Walking throughout our newly painted home every day now makes me appreciate our living space! It feels like we have a new home!Basurto Painting is a genuine professional painting service. From the first time the estimator (Nico) came to see our place to the first day on the job, they were very communicative and transparent with their working process. On the first day, Nico was there with the lead painter Chris, and they did a walk-through together in each room. So they were going through what each room precisely needed.Our bathroom was the main reason for us considering repainting the interior. Basurto Painting truly transformed this room to a point where it feels like we are in a different house even! But, as you will see in the photos, the window near the shower and bathtub needed some extra TLC, which Basurto more than delivered.Basurto Painting was also able to install weather stripping to our front door, install new ceiling light fixtures, install a new showerhead, and replace our old medicine cabinet. They also re-stained our rooms' doors and the lower kitchen cabinets. They do more than just paint, which is impressive and value-added. Of course, all of these extras we did inquire about were included in the estimate.They show up each day on time and are very respectful of my and my wife's work areas since we both work from home. I would recommend Basurto Painting 100% for residential house painting.

We needed an experience contractor to stain our garage doors (after 10 years, our garage doors needed to be completed sanded down to bare wood) as well as paint our home office, outside fence and several cabinets in the house with water damage. Nico and his team are the ultimate professionals. They show up on time, are very clean, polite and deliver outstanding value and quality of work. They color matched our cabinets without the initial paint and even did some carpentry work on the fence and baseboards which needed repairs. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I hired Nico and his amazing crew to help me give my newly purchased condo a face lift (which included removing the awful popcorn ceiling). He was professional, punctual, and super responsive throughout the entire process. Nico also gave great advice for paint colors, finishes, designs, etc. He is very knowledgable in what he does and he made the stressful parts of purchasing a new home a breeze. My favorite part is the beautiful new doors and NO MORE POPCORN CEILING!! I am beyond happy with the results and highly recommend you go with Basurto Painting!

I highly recommend Basurto Painting. I have used Nico and his crew twice now for both indoor and outdoor painting projects. He and the crew always are courteous, very respectful of your home and careful with all of your belongings. They did an initial project of our wood window frames both indoor and outside. They were meticulous on the prep work and they were very conscientious in their clean-up everyday. The second project was our indoor rooms after we had our hardwood floor refinished and they completed the finish work on the new baseboards, painted all walls and ceilings, doors and windows that I had not had done previously. Again, the crew was very communicative on progress, noting any items that might need repaired along the way (a door frame that needed repair, texturing that was inconsistent in a hallway, doorways that needed transition changes, etc.). I would highly recommend Nico and his crew. They are priced competitively and meticulous in their work. It is so great to have a team of painters with great experience, high quality results, and very responsive on any changes along the way. THANKS Nico!

When you need work done on your home, you really want to trust the team that does it. We needed our condo interior painted, and I felt trust the entire process from the (very fair) quote to the finishing of the job. Nico was quick to respond to messages and was always clear in communication. He and his team were very professional and respectful of the home. The team showed up promptly each day, set up, moved things out of the way, and completed the work. They were organized and kept everything very clean--it was not at all a disruption to our daily routine. The paint job came out beautifully.Overall, I really appreciated the professionalism. They are good people. I highly recommend them--and support small local businesses![COVID-19 safety protocols were also followed. The team always wore masks, distanced, and windows were open.]

Basurto Painting is the ultimate resource for professional interior designers. Nico was a recommendation from the Manager of South Bay Paints. From the initial estimate, I knew that working with Nico would be a professional and positive experience. Nico and his team were always on time, polite, communicative about what they were doing, and their work on both the interior and exterior of my project was flawless. They were able to patch cracks and cover chips in paint better than any painter I've ever worked with. They were meticulously clean and accommodated all of our requests for extra services on the spot. I have never worked with such a perfectionist painter and would recommend him for any high quality design project.

“I hired Nicanor Basurto to refinish my almost thirty year-old kitchen cabinets. He and his crew of three [family and friend] exceeded my expectations. They were on time every day for eleven days, stayed all day, and cleaned up before they left. Each cabinet door, front and back, and drawer was sanded down by handed; the work was tedious and dusty. They took great care in prepping the area, both the kitchen and the garage where they did the sanding. Great care was also taken to put everything back into place. Nico was able to compliment the color in my hardwood floor to the cabinets. I am ecstatic, and it looks as if I have a new kitchen. Nico is in the house painting business, but when he first came to my house to give me an estimate, he surely didn't shy away from this job. Excellent worker and a nice person too.”
