Four Steps for Preparing Your House for a New Paint Job

house_painting_Basurto_Painting

Congratulations! You are about to work with Basurto Painting of San Jose, and you are ready for the four steps to success in preparing your house for a new paint job! Our team looks forward to assisting you with your house painting project. We specialize in residential painting for custom homes and high-end homes throughout affluent communities in the Bay Area.

When preparing your house for a new paint job, we offer the following advice to assist our team of licensed painters.

Step 1 — Start Preparing Your House.

  1. Move your furniture out of the rooms that are to be painted.
  2. Remove all art from the walls, ceilings, and other surfaces that are to be painted.
  3. Remove all breakables from the rooms that are to be painted.
  4. Please provide a clear, unobstructed path to the rooms and areas that are to be painted for the safety of our painters and your belongings.

Step 2 — Understand Our Liability Limitations.

Our insurance policy does not want us to move furniture in case something breaks because we cannot be held liable. If our customers request that we transfer the furniture to paint behind it, they need to be aware that damage could happen. Therefore, if a customer requests our team of licensed painters to move furniture, art, light fixtures, and other breakables, be aware that we will include the cost of moving these items in our estimate. Additionally, we will require the customer to sign a waiver of liability if the furniture or other belongings break.

Step 3 — Sign Our Release Form.

Please download the following waiver, print it, sign it, and email it to nico@basurtopainting.com.

Of course, the Basurto Painting team will be very gentle with your items, but we will not be held liable. We will create a win-win solution if you assume the responsibility of removing any items from harm’s way when preparing your house for a new paint job.

Step 4 — Let Us Know If You Have Questions.

Our goal is to create a pleasant painting experience for our customers, and we want you to be thrilled with the outcome of our high-quality, professional painting services. If you have any questions about preparing your house for a new paint job from Basurto Painting in San Jose, please contact us for a complimentary consultation. We look forward to serving you.
