Basurto Painting came across a presentation put on by Qualified Remodeler Magazine about the top trends across the United States in 2020-2021. We hope you find this information as interesting as we do.

According to Qualified Remodeler Magazine, 73% of surveyed homeowners wanted to change their home design due to the pandemic. Only 27% of those surveyed said they did not need to change their dwelling in any way.

Many of those homeowners wanted a combination of the following changes to their homes:

• Shifts in layout preferences — 29%
• Shift to a new mix of remodeling types, like adding on bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchens — 29%
• Shifts in design styles (like modern, traditional, or farmhouse) — 2%
• Shifts in colors, texture, and finishes — 2%
• All of the above — 37%

Of the design styles that are the most popular, the top three are:

1. Transitional
2. Modern
3. Contemporary

This particular survey we found very interesting, of course: Top Paint Colors. The top ten paint colors are as follows, according to this nationwide survey from Qualified Remodeler Magazine:
